Memories: Abbey's Visit to Rome

In June of this year, Fr James and Fr Augustine went on a pilgrimage to several sites of Christian antiquity, and were very fortunate to be accorded excellent hospitality in Rome, where the Swiss Guard and Vatican Guides were very accommodating, going so far as to, hearing they were from Scotland, show them to a private viewing of the tombs of the Royal Stuarts, who were the last Catholic Kings of Scotland. Avoiding the crowds, they were pleased to be able to use the portico upon leaving after a long day.

When in Rome! A very Roman looking Fr. James, pleased to be able to sit down after a long day in Rome.
