Music at the Cathedral

Music at the Cathedral is primarily in the chant traditions of the Christian West and East, with some harmonised or choral music included as well. Through the benefactions of the LCPI we are able to offer bursaries to a limited number of young people who, either through achievement or enthusiasm, show promise in their musical potential. The choirs sing primarily Sarum Chant (which is very similar to Gregorian Chant), as well as choral music from the British, Russian, and Greek musical traditions.
